The South Berwick Water District supplies the people of
South Berwick and portions of Berwick, Maine, with
clean, safe water 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
That responsibility is laid out in our 1959 charter from the
Maine Legislature, and traces back to a South Berwick water
company organized in 1894. Our water
meets or exceeds every State and Federal standard, and has
won "Best Tasting Drinking Water in Maine" four times. We're proud
of the work we do to provide our residents with safe, clean,
and reliable water services.
